Kintsugi is the Japanese Art of repairing broken items with precious metals, therefore, rendering them more valuable and beautiful than before they were broken. While, the word “And” carries power with it as a reminder that two things can be true at once. It can help us accept our reality, while focusing on things that bring us hope and strength. Together, the Kintsugi and “And” charms can remind us that we can feel broken and be beautiful at the same time. May we remember that our broken hearts, minds, and bodies can be filled with metaphorical gold or silver as we remember our “And” and grow through our challenges.
